Original Watercolor Painting by Dana James

Custom order set from inspiration bracelet and pendant.  Smokey quartz, agate, black onyx and pearl with fine silver links and sterling silver chain.

Hi, I’m Dana and welcome to my website.  I am in the process of redesigning my sites and this is my first go at it.  This is not an e-commerce site, but if you find something you like in the Gallery, please shoot me an e-mail and I’ll see if I still have it in stock or can make you something similar.

Please visit my 1000 Markets site and my ETSY site for items you can purchase today.

I don’t have a specialty, but I do create items I love and that I hope my customers will love.  I currently am working with fine silver and sterling silver in making my own chains and bracelets.  The photo to the left shows large fine silver links that I fused together and then mixed with the gemstones for a unique one of a kind look.  If you check out the Gallery you will find a couple of my wire wrapped pieces. In the future, I hope to have more opal pendants available as I will be cutting and polishing my own.  Believe me when I say that almost anything can be wrapped in wire and then worn as a pendant.

My husband and I attended the Tucson Gem Shows this year in February and what a trip that was. All the wonderful gemstones, rocks and minerals.  I even had to purchase some finished pieces.

I have had so many comments from wonderful folks wanting my Gem Tree Sculptures book.  Good news, the publisher has indicated that I should have my proof copy in the next four to five weeks and if all is well a book could be published as early as one week from that period.  All books will be printed on demand and I will provide a copy to the publisher web site for my book when it is available.  I will have copies for my workshops, but most likely will not be offering them for sale on this site.

If you are wanting a quick and easy tutorial, I have published a mini version on my learn fun stuff blog, so check it out.  The finished book will have more pictures and diagrams.  If you want to view some of my finished trees, check out the Gem Tree Gallery here on this site.

I know I have fans of my watercolors and I will have a gallery posted soon.  The painting to the left is one of my favorites, titled Gayle’s Roses.
